mixed feelings about my stay

dirty toilets limited catering
i was disappointed with a couple of things. the general cleanliness felt poor, especially the toilets. they were left dirty, and the toilet basins were overflowing. also, breakfast wasn't available, and they only offered catering until 7pm in the evening. i found that quite limiting.

Charming Stay in Historic Locale

comfortable bed ample shelf central location
The room provided a really comfortable bed. I found ample shelf space available, which helped keep things organized. The location is central (it's hard to miss), putting key attractions within easy reach, I noticed.
Access to the upper floors was a bit challenging due to the stairs.

The pub offered great value with the fish and chips plus drink deal. My husband's steak ciabatta was cooked perfectly. The beer garden provided a lively atmosphere with a pirate band (I enjoyed the Saturday night performance).

dust accumulation alternating temperatures
the location was acceptable, near key attractions.
I encountered a problem with the SHOWER it kept alternating between hot and cold temperatures. also, the cleanliness was lacking. I noticed dust accumulation in several areas, specifically around the window frames and skirting boards. THE experience detracted from my stay.

a decent location!

great location center location bay view off-site parking top floor disability issues
The location was great and the price was right. i found it easy to locate since it's in the center. shops and bakeries are super close. I could see the bay from my window. it was interesting to see the high and low tides.
My fault for not checking parking and stairs, though. walking from off-site parking was difficult. the rooms were up two flights of stairs. It was a challenge. i have disability issues since i'm on the top floor.
